We hand harvest the finest Sangiovese grapes from our 24-hectare property and allow it to ferment naturally, with only indigenous yeasts, before aging in large Slavonian oak barrels. With every steps, we adhere to the ancient Chianti tradition.

The Poggio Torselli Chianti Classico is a re-interpreted expression of the Sangiovese grape in combination with Merlot. After a five-day maceration the wine is subsequently aged for 12 months in French oak before bottled. Once bottled, the Chianti Classico ages for at least another three months before being released to market.

A brilliant ruby red color, with notes of licorice and orange peel, this Chianti Classico is in perfect balance: an elegance with pleasurable tannins.
