Campania traces evidence of its wine producing roots to almost 3200 years ago! Greek influence is strong here with a white grape known simply as “Greco”, and along with Fiano and the pine-scented Falanghina this forms a triumvirate of white wines that you can explore without breaking the bank. Aside from the dazzling array of white wines, we can not forget about the ultra meaty and savory Aglianico, which forms the backbone of the wines of Taurasi (which, by the way, deserves to be on the same plane as the red wines of Piedmont and Tuscany).
