Tequila Cascahuín started producing tequila in 1904, today, Tequila Cascahuin is known for its authentic flavors and select quality derived from the best cultivated agaves in the valleys area.
The word “Cascahuín”, a distinctive sign of our company, and the idea of its founder Salvador Rosales Briseño, arises from the pre-Hispanic roots whose interpretation is “Cerro de Luz” or “Fiesta en el Cerro” 100% of Agave rests in spent American oak barrels and used for tequila for more than 20 years, the maturation or rest time lasts from 6 to 8 months in the barrels. Color: Clean and bright giving a straw yellow natural color of the worn barrel. Aroma: Fragrance of cooked agave and small aromas of honey and vanilla, followed by notes of dry land without losing the characteristic of agave. Flavor: Balanced flavors of sweet, cooked agave and wood (American oak) are denoted, this results in a pleasant combination with a silky finish. Agave Region: Los Valles (Valley). Oven: Stone/Brick Oven. Extraction: roller mill. Distillation: stainless pot with copper coil (1st distillation), copper pot (final distillation). Water: Deep water well. Proof: 80
